Aurick Brackett

Here's Aurick Smith, age 53 in 1870 in Washington, Tazewell County, Illinois.  Born in Vermont, working as a Carpenter. With wife Anis, 50 and son William, age 28, both also born in Vermont

If that's the uncle of my Aurick Brackett, he's born in 1817 or 1816, and would have been 23 when he inherited the family farm in Clarendon, Vermont with her his brother Spencer Smith.

Eliza Brackett

Eliza Brackett is a daughter of Samuel Brackett and Sallie/Sally Smith.  Born in 1827, dies 1869.
She's on the 1850 Census with her family in St. Albans, at age 14.

In 1870 her mother and sister are a household in Rutland, Vermont.  But I don't know where Eliza is.

The only source I have for her death is the Brackett Genealogy book in 1909.  If they knew of a marriage, they would have listed it.

Here is an Eliza Brackett, age 20, seamstress.  Living with Emery and Mary Harvard in Rutland in 1860.  At least, their last name is indexed as Harvard.  It could be Howard.  It could be something else.  Could this be my Eliza Brackett, who would be 24 in 1860?

There's a 23 year old Eliza Brackett living in Chesterville Maine in 1860 census, but she's living with 34-year-old Sewall Brackett, so that Eliza Brackett is probably married to Sewall Brackett and has a different last name at birth.
